10 Days Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru, Amboseli, Lake Manyara, Serengeti,  and Ngorongoro Crater Safari – Kenya and Tanzania safaris

Day 1: Nairobi – Masai Mara (Kenya)

Met upon arrival from the airport and drive to Masai Mara game reserve arriving at Mara Sopa lodge for lunch. Afternoon game drive in the vast Mara plains in search for the predators such the lions with dark manes, cheetahs, leopard and many herbivores especially during the yearly migration of wildebeest between July – September. Dinner and overnight at Mara Sopa Lodge.

Day 2: Masai Mara (Kenya)

Full day in the Mara dedicated to early morning, mid-morning and afternoon game drives or full day game viewing depending on ones choice. (Optional visit to Masai village or balloon safaris can be organized locally). All meals and overnight at Mara Sopa lodge.

Day 3: Masai Mara – Lake Nakuru (Kenya)

Breakfast and thereafter drive to Lake Nakuru National Park with game drive en-route to Sarova Lion Hill for lunch.  Afternoon game drive. Lake Nakuru is known as a Ramsar bird site specifically founded for the protection of the black and white rhino. It is also a home for more than 450 species of birds including the lesser and greater flamingos, pelicans, African fish eagles and many others.   Dinner and overnight Sarova Lion Hill Lodge.

Day 4: Lake Nakuru – Amboseli (Kenya)

After breakfast, drive to Amboseli via Nairobi and further south arriving at Amboseli Sopa Loge for late lunch. Amboseli is a home to the famous Masai tribesmen where a visit to Masai village would be optional.  Afternoon game drive, with good weather giving the possibility to see the snow capped Mount Kilimanjaro.  Dinner and overnight at Amboseli Sopa Lodge

Day 5: Amboseli – Lake Manyara (Kenya to Tanzania)

After breakfast drive to border town of Namanga (Kenya/Tanzania border) for immigration formalities and change vehicle to Lake Manyara arriving in time for lunch.  Afternoon game drive.  Dinner and overnight at Lake Manyara Serena Lodge

Day 6: Lake Manyara – Serengeti (Tanzania)

After breakfast drive to Serengeti National Park arriving at Serengeti Sopa Lodge for lunch.  Afternoon game drive in the Serengeti endless plains whose inhabitants include great herds of wildebeests, gazelles, zebras and a pride of lions lounging in the tree shades. Dinner and overnight at Seronera Wildlife Lodge

Day 7: Serengeti (Tanzania)

Full day in Serengeti dedicated to morning, mid-morning and afternoon game drives. All meals and overnight at Seronera Wildlife Lodge.

Day 8: Serengeti – Ngorongoro (Tanzania)

After breakfast, drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area (NCA) arriving at Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge for lunch.  Afternoon at leisure. Dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge.

Day 9: Ngorongoro (Tanzania)

After breakfast, full day crater tour with picnic lunches. The crater is 670m deep and 260km² wide, making it the largest in the world. You will have a break for lunch at the Ngoitoktok springs picnic site. Return to your lodge after a thrilling exercise of driving up the narrow and steep crater walls. Dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge.

Day 10 Ngorongoro – Namanga – Nairobi (Tanzania to Kenya)

After breakfast drive back to Arusha for lunch and thereafter further to Namanga/Taveta border for your extension to Nairobi or Mombasa.
